My personal yoga journey
With years of experience practicing various sports, including martial arts, rowing, surfing, weight training, running, and Crossfit, I can confidently say that no other discipline has made me feel as fulfilled as yoga. The post-yoga euphoria I experience is unparalleled, bringing both peace of mind and physical strength to my life.
Yoga's lifelong growth process is what truly sets it apart for me. Each practice is an opportunity to deepen my understanding of myself and the world around me. After starting with power yoga, I continued to delve deeper into the practice, attending a 500-hour teacher training in Rishikesh, India. It was there that I learned from some incredible teachers and honed my personal passion for the Ashtanga practice.
As a teacher, I love leading a dynamic, sweaty power yoga class or Vinyasa yoga, but I also enjoy offering my students a balance with some Sivananda Hatha. My goal is not just to teach students the physical poses of yoga, but to also encourage them to find beauty in every moment and take breaks when necessary.
For me, yoga is not just about the physical asanas, but it's a way of life. As a yoga teacher, my mission is to help others discover this same transformative power in their own lives, in whatever way they are open to it right now.
